Hi, I’m Dani
My path to doula work began at bedsides, on living room floors, and during countless late-night newborn snuggles.
For more than 13 years, I've supported families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of early parenthood as an Infant Care Specialist and postpartum caregiver. I've helped parents navigate sleepless nights, recovery, feeding challenges, newborn care, uncertainty, and those moments when they simply needed someone beside them reminding them they were doing okay.
Along the way, I discovered something simple but powerful: no one was meant to do this alone.
Community has become the foundation of both my life and my work.
Interestingly, becoming a doula wasn't originally part of my plan. One of the families I worked with—a family I'm now fortunate enough to call friends—encouraged me to explore doula work. The more I learned, the more something clicked. What began as curiosity quickly became a calling.
I'm also a proud mama to an adult son and Army veteran. Watching him grow into the person he is today has been one of the greatest honors of my life and has given me a deep appreciation for the lifelong journey of parenthood.
I believe every family deserves to feel safe, supported, respected, and cared for without judgment. My goal is simple: to help you feel seen, heard, and never alone as you navigate this chapter of your life.
When I'm not supporting families, you'll usually find me making music as a singer-songwriter and performing throughout Rochester and the Twin Cities, tending my garden, spending time outdoors, or enjoying life with my family and our two Mini Schnauzers.
