Cradle & Roots Birth Co. provides birth and postpartum doula support for families throughout Minneapolis and the Twin Cities. Our care is centered around your individual needs, values, and goals, offering prenatal support, continuous labor support, postpartum care, and newborn guidance through a calm, nonjudgmental approach rooted in connection and evidence-based education.

Founded by DONA-trained and Birthing From Within-trained doula Dani Torkelson, Cradle & Roots Birth Co. supports families with compassionate care, emotional support, and practical guidance throughout pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

We welcome and support neurodivergent, LGBTQIA2S+, and nontraditional families, as well as families of all structures and identities. We strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and empowered to make informed choices that align with your values and needs.
